PARIS MOUNTIES NAME ZAC RINALDO HEAD COACH

PARIS, ON – The Paris Mounties are proud to announce the hiring of former NHL forward Zac Rinaldo as the club’s new Head Coach.

Rinaldo joins the Mounties after spending the past three seasons as Head Coach and Assistant General Manager of the Pelham Panthers of the Greater Ontario Hockey League, where he compiled a 71-75-7-2 record.

A native of Hamilton, Ontario, Rinaldo brings extensive professional hockey experience to Paris, having appeared in more than 500 games between the NHL and AHL during his playing career.

“Zac is passionate about coaching and developing young athletes, helping them grow both on and off the ice,” said Mounties owner Mike Christian. “The opportunity with the Mounties allows him to lead and mentor players in a competitive environment while maintaining the flexibility to continue his in-season player development work with local athletes. We are absolutely thrilled to have Zac be a part of this Mounties revival.”

Rinaldo’s experience at both the professional and junior levels, combined with his commitment to player development, will play an important role as the Mounties continue building toward the upcoming season.

The Paris Mounties organization would like to officially welcome Zac and his family to Paris.

PARIS MOUNTIES ANNOUNCE 2027 PROSPECT CAMP

PARIS, ON – The Paris Mounties are pleased to announce that the club’s 2027 Prospect Camp will take place June 6 and 7 at the Brant Sports Complex.

The two-day camp will provide prospective players with an opportunity to showcase their abilities in front of the Mounties hockey operations staff as the organization begins preparations for the 2027-28 Provincial Junior Hockey League season.

Players attending camp will take part in a competitive on-ice environment designed to allow the Mounties coaching and scouting staff to evaluate skill, compete level, hockey sense and overall potential.

The Prospect Camp represents an important part of the Mounties’ player identification and development process, while giving players an opportunity to learn more about the organization and what it means to play junior hockey in Paris.
